Comprehensive Fiery Warpath Guide

The Sandtail Desert is the latest location released by the developers and this one is a long journey as the first location called "Fiery Warpath" is one of the most cumbersome areas go into. It is advised to have your most powerful traps and base available before venturing into this area. Good thing a fellow Mousehunter named Mohamad-Kazem was able to make a comprehensive guide to able to surpass the Fiery Warpath location.

Tips on Gaining More Experience points (and Gold) in Tribal Isles

From Legendary Ranks and Up

If your building up experience points to enter the Jungle of Dead then you can focus your hunts on either the Elub Shore or the Nerg Plains.

Elub Shore:
The Elub Tribe mice have the highest experience points turnout on the Tribal Isle using the best
Hydro-based setup. Gouda cheese would be enough as long as you use the best setup available

Conventional
Ancient Spear Trap
Tribal Base or Magma Base (limited edition)

Alternate setup:
Kraken Chaos (limited edition)
Candy Cane Base or Magma Base (limited edition)

Nerg Plains:
If your unlucky hunting on the Elub shore, you can try your luck on the Nerg Plains.
the Nerg mice can also give you high experience points (also not as high as the Elub mice)
but high enough for an experience boost. Another plus when hunting on the Nerg plains is
you can also get rack up your gold also.

Conventional
Horrific Venus Mouse Trap
Tribal Base or Magma Base

Alternate setup:
2012 Boom Trap (limited edition)
Magma Base ((limited edition)

Tips on hunting the Dragon Mouse

Hunting for the Dragon Mouse is a bit hard and I will share some tips on how to save your Inferno Havarti. Based on personal experience, the Dragon Mouse usually comes out when I only have 12 or less Inferno Havarti as bait . More than that, the cheese will be engulf by either the Draconic Warden or the Whelping more than the Dragon itself.

So if you have a lot of Inferno Havarti ingredients at hand, try to limit your Inferno Havarti around 10 to 12 pieces at a time.

Stale Cheese Farming

Ran out of Stale Cheese for your Ancient and Runic Cheese? Here's a nice tip

The easiest and the most affordable way to get Ancient cheese is to craft 3 Stale Cheese with 6 Ionized Salts. If in case you ran out of Stale Cheese, Then here's what you would do:

Hunt at the Pinnacle Chamber using the ACRONYM or Obelisk of Incineration and any base with a stale effect setup with Cheddar cheese as bait.

Since mice at the Pinnacle Chamber are tactical mice (we are using Arcane traps which are weak against tactical mice) and Cheddar cheese have the poorest attraction to mice (and very affordable) couple with uber stale effect of the trap setup, it will surely produce a stale cheese on every horn and trap check.

Tips on How to fast track your experience points and gold

For Legendary Rank and up

At this point of the game, having enough experience and gold preferably (16 million points and up) and about 5 million in gold will be needed when you are to embark your journey into the Tribal Isles.

Frequent hunting at Catacombs and/or Forbidden Grove will rack up your points and gold with the ocassional visit at the Laboratory to replenish your Radioactive Blue potions.

Almost all mice on these areas worth over 2000+ in gold and at least 1000+ in experience points.

Tips on gathering Fire Salt in Jungle of Dread

Fire Salt is one main ingredients needed to craft the Inferno Havartee to which you need to bait the powerful Dragon Mouse in Dracano. Although Fire Salt is drop by almost all the mice in the the Jungle of Dread, the rate of loot drop is not that as good.

My strategy is by focusing your hunt a particular mice on which you have a high sucess rate (which on my case, I'm having a sucess catching the Primal Mouse over the other mice on JoD). The higher the catching rate the better chance of getting Fire Salt.

The Kings Gauntlet Tips

The Journey towards up the tower and catch the Eclipse Mouse

  • Don't rush to go up the next tier. Stock enough potion ( around 30 to 50) so that you won't be needing to go back down.
  • Use your luckiest trap setup as loot drops are more frequent when your luck value is high.
  • Keep in mind the preferred trap setup per tier. There are clues within the each tier cheese (or you could always check the MH wiki site)
